A black textured ceramic vase with a unique shape holds a bouquet of white and pink flowers. The vase is placed on a cream-colored surface next to a green book titled "The Poet's Poet and Other Essays" by W. A. Quayle and a red book. Light and shadow create soft reflections on a white curtain in the background.

The heart & hands behind Mud & Mire Ceramics

Hello, I’m Megan! I make small batches of functional and decorative pottery at home. Some pieces are wheel-thrown for even shapes; others are hand-built for a more visible human touch. All are high-fired for strength and a smooth finish.

My style is minimal and purposeful: clean forms, proper technique, and glazes that compliment the clay. I prioritize creativity and longevity — dainty necklace pendants, cozy chimineas, ambient light fixtures, and delicately designed vases.

Small batches let me control every step, so quality is consistent while each piece remains unique. I make and finish everything myself. Pieces are safe for daily use. Custom orders and commissions welcome.
